1. Registration and Enrollment:
- Prospective students must complete a registration form prior to enrollment.
- Enrollment is subject to availability and instructor approval.
2. Lesson Scheduling:
- Lessons are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Lesson times are pre-determined and agreed upon at the time of enrollment.
- Changes to lesson times require 24 hours’ notice and are subject to availability.
3. Payment and Fees:
- Tuition fees are due prior to the start of each month.
- Payment methods accepted include cash, check, zelle, or through the online portal.
- A one-time $30 registration fee will apply for new students, to cover materials cost and any resources that may be handed out to students.
4. Attendance and Cancellations:
- Regular attendance is crucial for progress. Students are expected to attend all scheduled lessons.
- If a student needs to cancel a lesson, they must provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Failure to provide adequate notice will not result in waiving of the lesson fee.
- In the event the student provides adequate notice, they will be refunded or credited for one lesson
- In the event of instructor cancellation, a makeup lesson or refund will be provided.
- 30 days written notice is required for lesson termination.
- Failure to provide notice results in responsibility for the final month’s tuition.
5. Practice and Preparation:
- Students are encouraged to practice regularly outside of lessons to reinforce learning.
- Instructors may provide practice materials and assignments to enhance progress.
6. Conduct and Expectations:
- Respectful behavior is expected at all times during lessons.
- Students are expected to arrive punctually for their lessons.
7. Progress Evaluation:
- Progress will be regularly assessed by the instructor.
- Feedback will be provided to students to guide their development.
8. Communication:
- Open communication between students, parents (if applicable), and instructors is encouraged.
- Any concerns or questions should be addressed promptly to ensure a positive learning experience.
9. Code of Conduct:
- Discrimination, harassment, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Cleanliness and respect for the studio space are required.
- Students are expected to adhere to the studio’s code of conduct at all times.
10. Termination of Enrollment:
- The studio reserves the right to terminate enrollment for students who repeatedly violate policies or display disruptive behavior.
- In such cases, refunds will be provided at discretion.
11. Amendments to Policy:
- This policy is subject to change at the discretion of the studio management.
- Students will be notified in advance of any amendments to the policy.
12. Student referrals:
- Referring a student earns a $25 credit on the next month’s tuition.
13. Agreement:
- Enrollment in drum lessons implies agreement to abide by the policies outlined herein.
By enrolling in drum lessons, students acknowledge and agree to comply with the terms and conditions set forth in this policy.
